    Hey @continouspktloss

    There are a few things we can try which might help with the connectivity issues you've been seeing.

    First I'd recommend running through the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps from the EA Help website to see how that goes. If it keeps happening after that check out the PC-specific steps as well.

    If the same problems are still happening afterward can you also try setting a different DNS in Windows to see if that helps? You can change the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you select the Manual option you can enter a DNS of your choosing. I usually suggest the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different DNS you'd rather use instead that's OK as well.

    Please let me know if you're still having any lag issues or disconnections afterward. Thanks!

  • Hey @EA_Kent,
    I did all of these but the problem is not solved.
    I have tried everything but still freezing, code:net, stuttering.

    Hi @continouspktloss

    Thanks for following up!

    When you've got the chance can you also try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference? If there's anything else running on the PC that might be related to these issues that could help to get around it.

    For more information on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Once you've had the chance to give it a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks!

    @continouspktloss

    Thanks for giving that a shot as well.

    Another thing that can help in cases like this is setting a static IP address in Windows. The Port Forward website has step-by-step instructions on how to set that up.

    If you're able to give this a try please let me know how it goes. Thanks!

    @continouspktloss

    I appreciate you giving that a shot as well.

    When you have the chance can you try running a UO Trace so we can take a look at the results? That should give us a more detailed look at the connection between your home network and the servers, so if something is happening along the way we might be able to spot it.

    You can find more details on how to run the test over at the EA Help website. Look for the section on that article titled How to run a UOTrace. Once you have the results please send them to me in a direct message. Thanks!
