Fix CS language pack bug!

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. The game and the map don't matter.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Log in to the lobby
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Occurs every day on the first login from the start of s22
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 2024/08/07
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I want to play in Japanese, but I'm forced to play in English for the rest of my life. Of course I have the language pack installed. However, the PS5 does not have the function to reinstall the language pack, so EA needs to fix it. Hurry up!
What should be happening instead? Fix Update
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can see it with my own eyes every time I log in.

  • Thank you for your reply. I am originally Japanese, so the PS5 language is Japanese. So I once set the PS5 to another language such as English, and then changed it back to Japanese, but it didn't change anything... I have installed the language pack on the PS5, but it seems that I can't uninstall the language pack alone, and the PS5 is really inflexible, so it's a hassle. My home internet connection is not very fast, so I want to avoid reinstalling the game.

    - システム言語を英語に切り替えます
    - システムを再起動します
    - Apexを起動してロビーにロードします
    - Apexを閉じる
    - システム言語を日本語に戻します
    - システムを再度再起動します
    - Apexを再起動します

    現在、言語パック自体に問題があるかどうかをテストするために、Switch の言語を日本語に切り替えました。言語パックをダウンロード中なので、私の Switch で機能するかどうかお知らせします。それまでの間、ニンテンドー e ショップには、言語パックを再ダウンロードできることが記載されています。 PS5 ストアの Apex's DLCs に、言語パックのみを再ダウンロードできるオプションはありますか?

    言語パックは機能しています。そうは言っても、PlayStation ストアの Apex にアクセスして DLCs をチェックしてください。日本語の言語パックを見つけて、可能であれば言語パックを再インストールします。

    The language pack is working. That being said, go to Apex on the PlayStation store and check the DLCs. Find the language pack for Japanese and reinstall the language pack, if it lets you.

    言い換えれば、日本語言語パックは私のSwitchで動作しているということです。

    In other words: The Japanese language pack is working on my Switch.

  • The PS5 also has language packs, but once you download and install them, you cannot delete the language packs. Therefore, you cannot reinstall them. I changed the PS5 system language to English, but I will try again and get back to you.
