Game keeps crashing on my Xbox one x but doesn’t crash for others on same WiFi

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Quinvictus
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible. Dominantbird774
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Mostly revenant, crypto, and octane.
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? Bangalore
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Several areas, terminal, I think, and capitol city.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Just running.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 2-3
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 02.04.20 02.05.20. Several times between the hours of 6pm-1am both nights.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes. Freezes out of nowhere, then kicks me out of the game. My Roomate is in the same game and he has no issues, and I’m wired in with very good internet, so it’s not our internet.
What should be happening instead? The game should be running without me getting kicked and having quit penalties in ranked.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I dunno, play the game with an Xbox one x? Not sure why I’m getting kicked and no one else on my internet is.

    Hi @JonnySp33d. 

    Let's take a look and see if we can help out with these crashes here. Since you've got multiple consoles on the same wifi connection we might be looking at an IP address conflict. I've seen that happen in some cases. Setting a static IP address on your consoles might help out with that. 

    For more details on how to set a static IP check out the Microsoft Support website. Let me know if that helps at all.

    Hi @JonnySp33d. 

    Let's take a look and see if we can help out with these crashes here. Since you've got multiple consoles on the same wifi connection we might be looking at an IP address conflict. I've seen that happen in some cases. Setting a static IP address on your consoles might help out with that. 

    For more details on how to set a static IP check out the Microsoft Support website. Let me know if that helps at all.

    Did you have a chance to try setting up a static IP for your Xbox? Are you still having any sort of crashes?

    Hi, I have been experiencing the same issues but usually in long games.

    it is happening very very often.

    Are you also playing on Xbox One, or do you play on a different platform? Have you been seeing any error messages at all when it happens?

    @EA_Kent I'm in thae same boat but mine crashes 95% of the time. Dns, static ip, cache clearing, even reinstalled direct to internal and disconnected the external. Spent over an hour each respectively in chat and on the phone with tech support. Nothing has resolved the issue. Every other game i play runs without issue... Only Apex is crashing on me

    @sweetnpsycho666 

    Is it crashing consistently at a certain place in the game (for example: on a loading screen, during Legend select, at a specific place on the map) or is it just random? Does it happen if you sign into other Gamertags on the same console?

    Crashed in menus, all game modes, any length of time in matches, multiple profiles on my xb1x and i've played on the other 3 xb1s consoles in my household all with the same result. Never had any issue with Apex until S4 assimilation dropped. Ever since then it started and just got more frequent, sometimes 8 or 9 in a row and I just switch to another game

    @sweetnpsycho666 

    Hmm, I see. Do you have a lot of people on your friends list? If so, can you try clearing out some of them to see if that makes a difference at all? It might sound weird, but we have seen cases where a large friends list seems to be a factor in crashes like this. Others have reported that removing some friends has helped prevent the crashes.

    That's probably fine. The people I saw who said deleting friends had a lot more, so that's likely not related in this case. 

    While you're playing Apex Legends do you have any streams or anything like that running on the same internet connection? I've also seen cases where other network usage can lead to crashes like this. Try limiting the amount of other activity on your network if at all possible and see if that makes a difference for you at all. Let me know how that goes for you.
