Lost All Skins and Legends After Linking

Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. lobby
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. loading up lobby
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 10/03/21
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? My level and progress in the event is the same, but all my skins and legends I had purchased are gone.
What should be happening instead? I should see my skins and legends that I paid for.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know.

I wanted to take advantage of the Amazon Prime Gaming stuff so I went through a long process of linking everything. Once I was done, I booted up the game and my character was standing in the lobby with an exclusive skin on. I then went to the "legends" tab and noticed all my purchased legends were greyed out but when I hovered over them they still had the skins I had previously gotten on them. So, I reloaded the game to hopefully fix the problem. Instead, all my legends were reset and I was left with only the base legends and no skins. However, my progress in the event and my level were still the same. I am extremely displeased by this.

    I'm wondering if you linked your Xbox account to a new EA account by mistake?
    Do you remember the EA account you used on console?

    They say that if you unlink your platform account and link it back to the original EA Account it was linked to, you’ll get back all of your stuff.

    *Once you unlink a platform account from your EA Account and link it to a new one, you cannot unlink it again for six months*
  • Were you able to fix this issue? If so, how did you fix it? I am having the same issue as well on my PS4.

  • After you relink to the original account would the missing items be back instantly or it would take a couple days
