My Data Center is wrong and I've got a 100% of PL in servers menus

Platform:PC

If you disable this software, does that have any effect? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Lifeline
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Into the menu when I'm starting Apex
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. In launch of Apex
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? My data center is not in France or Belgium but in Lake Salt City (-1ms) and I'm unable to change the data center. I see a 100% of Packets Loss in the servers menu
What should be happening instead? Have a good connection and be able to change data center
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In the beginning, the data center has changed automaticly, don't know why

Hi,

Since 2 days, I'm unable to change my data center and the default is "Salt Lake City" (-1ms-100%PL)

But Apex launch proprely and I can find a game (it takes a while in ranked mode)

And when I'm using a VPN, I'm abler to change the data centre and have a expected ping (like 25ms)

I don't know if the problem come from my router (but it can, I've a lot of problems with CoD, WoT Blitz).

    Ok Kent,

    Tried that and same issue server locks to London 1. I am in California, my regions are correct. I have tried setting up my router to unpn and apex servers and no change. I have attached the first screen shot of last season and one of this. Trace route didnt help either? I am wonder if this is why I feel like shots don't register in game. Also why I am visually being eliminated behind cover?

    @cimimic 

    Have you had a chance to try changing the DNS settings in Windows to see if that makes a difference? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can help with similar issues. 

    You can update the DNS through the TCP/IP Settings in Windows. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you choose Manual you can enter the DNS of your choosing. I usually use the public Google DNS (primary DNS: 8.8.8.8, secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different open DNS you would prefer using instead that should be fine as well.

    @cimimic 

    I appreciate you giving it a shot!

    When you have the chance could you try running a UO Trace? That should let us see the connection between your home network and the servers, so if there's something happening along the way we should be able to spot it.

    Any news on this? I've the same problem, only VPN fixes it

    Hey @Munie36, 


    If the same issue doesn't happen when you're using a VPN, it sounds like there might be a local issue of some kind that's causing the packet loss you've been seeing. Have you had the chance to try any of the troubleshooting steps that were mentioned in this thread?

    Yes, I tried all of them and same behavior but if I use the VPN the first time and select a data center, then I can drop the vpn and will still use the same DataCenter. 

    Looks like something related to the Motorola MG7550, contacted Motorola and they're going to refund me, which is good and at the same time kind of confirms that the issue is with the Modem

    Gonna get a Netgear and try it out

    Hi, I am on a PS4 and my Data center shows as Iowa GCE 1,2,3,4 (it cycles through them) and whenever I try to press my main data center (Dallas) it doesn't work and instead says -1, 100 and it has been causing issues in game such as lag and mini freezes that sometimes cost me ranked games. I've tried completely uninstalling the game and it still won't go back to my main data center. Its to the point where I don't find joy in playing because its just too much lag how can I fix this issue?
