What happens when the bug occurs? We are fighting with another team and i can't hear when another team using the zipline or flying on me with jump tower. Or when a Gibraltar running on me i don't hear his steps.
What should be happening instead? I want to hear the steps or zipline or the flying people.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just playing some match in Apex and you can find the bug in your first match in Train Yard or Skyhook.

This bug has continued to be an issue through the majority life of Apex Legends. Audio, such as foot steps, is the extreme basics and fundamentals of a battle royale game and for some reason, not one patch has yet to fix this bug. This is basic audio of a video game and it has yet to be implemented into Apex Legends for some reason. I can hear the fireworks on the Mirage Ship over 1000 meters away, but I can't hear a pathfinder grappling on top of me or a bloodhound walking up directly behind me from the same building. This bug can be classified as rage inducing, so PLEASE find a way to finally fix it because, you know, sound is actually important in this game. Thank you.

What happens when the bug occurs? I am ambushed from players I had no idea were there until there's a gun in my back. The cause is NO FOOTSTEPS from players especially from pathfinder in a running stance
What should be happening instead? Footstep AUDIO needs to be fixed asap.

So many pro players alerady complained about this issue, this is going on since season 1. Not hearing footsteps often is so annoying and frustrating and actually kills the game! This is your nr.1 priority in fixing if not 2nd!

I 100% agree.

I notice it the most with pathfinder. He could be sprinting full on and you won't hear until he's got a gun in your back.

There have been numerous times in the past couple weeks where me and my friends will witness a Pathfinder use his grapple right next to one of us and we can't hear it. Pathfinder's footsteps might also be silent sometimes. The Pathfinder will just show up on the screen with no noise at all. Yesterday I was spectating my friend after I was dead, and a Pathfinder grappled and ran up right behind my friend and none of us heard anything at all. He just died and the Pathfinder ran off to his next victim. 

This seems to happen randomly and I'm not sure how to recreate this, but it is real. I've seen silent Pathfinders at least 10 times in the past couple weeks.

What happens when the bug occurs? I can't hear enemy footsteps even without shooting or no sound someone can now sneak up on me and i dont even hear them coming whether their above, below, left or right i wont know their there till i get hit or hear fire.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to hear some footstep even with my headset all the way up i can't hear them but the gun shoots are really loud.

Can't hear enemies footsteps. Not even when there right on top of me. My team mates keep freaking out that there's enemies nearby not a shot fire and i can't hear them run around our building climbing up and down the floors and stairs. Whole time i can't hear them coming up on me unless theres a door on zip the enemey interacts with that and gun fire are the only auto warning i get and it makes it hard specailly when i try to sneak on enemies from behine its like a 360 no scope for them. There no difference if their walkng or running i just can't hear it.

No matter what distance how quite other audio in the game is or any situation I cannot hear any audio cues from enemies, no footsteps, no character sounds, nothing. People have walked up to literally a couple of steps behind me before firing while no gunfire or any other sound effects have been going and have made no sounds till they shot. Please fix it is very annoying and deeply affects decision making in-game when I can hear enemy players in any situation.

Game is LITERALLY unplayable when you kill a full squad and don't hear 3 enemies stood DIRECTLY behind you or next to you. WTF is taking so damn long to fix the same BS issue that has constantly been existing since season 1?????? So close to dropping this damn game completely. FIXXXXXXXXXXXX YOURRRRRR DAMN GAME FFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
