Re: My apex keeps kicking me out of games

I play on switch and this problem happens not to often but when it does it kicks me back to the desktop of the switch. When I get back into the game it sometimes brings me back into the previous game I was in or to the main lobby. The error code or happens when it kicks me from the game and it says that there was a problem with the software and that it just closes Apex and sends me to my switch desktop. I'm not sure If it's just on switch or all consols but plz fix.

    Hi @DeinoLife

    Have you tried reinstalling the game to see if that helps at all? It sounds like there might be an issue with the game files, and a reinstall may help if that's the case. 


    @gobin99 

    When you've got the chance could you try running a UO Trace on your PC? That's a test that will give us a more detailed look at the connection between your home network and the servers, so if there's something happening in between we may be able to see it.

    Thanks! I appreciate you sending those trace results. 

    For the most part the UO Trace looks pretty good. The average ping stays low, and there isn't any measurable packet loss. The only thing that stood out to me was a pretty big difference between the best and worst ping on the very first hop. Since this is the connection between your PC and your router/modem, high ping there is a bit out of the ordinary. 

    How is your PC currently connected to the internet? Does it use wifi, or is it connected with a network cable?

  • Hi I have it use wifi because Im not able to connect my pc up to a network cable as I do not have one anymore but the last time I used one it didnt change much on my pc

  • Hi, today I was able to access my apex for a while but its still quite buggy and I think I have lost a skin from something but not sure as I dont pay too much attention to my skins. But besides that I was able to be in the lobby for a while before getting another code net error and booted to the menu. Its been almost a week and I wish this is fixed in some way soon

    Thanks for following up! If you're able to track down a LAN cable I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot just so we can eliminate any possible wifi interference as a potential cause for the issues you've been seeing. 

    I'm also curious if there might be something else running on your PC that could be related to these issues. Can you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes a difference? For more information on how to set one up check out the EA Help website

  • Hi I have tried this already and it doesnt seem to affect it much, Its what allowed me to be in the ingame lobby for a bit and I cant find a LAN cable so I dont know what to do there. I just hope I find a way to fix the glitch soon as I want to play with my friends again.

    Ah, I see!

    Do you have access to a mobile hotspot? If so, what happens if you try connecting your PC to the hotspot instead of your usual internet connection? I am curious if the same issues are still happening on a different network connection.

  • Hi I tried using a mobile hotspot and it lagged alot and ran out of data quickly so I couldnt even use it. But yes it still says the errors and kicks me to the menu

    Got it, thanks for giving that a shot. 

    Which datacenter are you normally connected to? Have you tried switching to any others to test and see if the same issues keep happening? Also, where are you located, if you don't mind me asking?

  • Hi I have found a way to play the game normally but its playing through my ps5 where I dont have any of my things, but I am trying the game now after the latest update to see if it works now.

    Hmm, if it's working on the PS5 I have to wonder if it's some kind of issue related to Easy Anti-Cheat on the PC. Do you have any other Anti-Cheat programs installed on your PC in addition to Easy Anti-Cheat?

  • Hi I dont have any other anti cheat programs but the game finally seems to run smoothly now I swapped it with a better graphics card, which is weird because I had the game on low settings from the start.

  • This game is so bad seriously 

    I can't play a game for over a month 

    The game keep crushing or kicking me out EVERY SINGLE TIME seriously 

    Just fix it

    Account bans aren't something we'd be able to look into here on Answers HQ. You'll need to contact the Terms of Service team so they can take a look and see if the ban can be lifted.
