Unable to Access Lobby - 'Disconnected: Detected Data Mismatch'

Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Launching the game
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Around 13.05.23 19:40 JST
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to access lobby
What should be happening instead? Have access to the lobby
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Login an account from which had after a break of 1-2 years

The same issue has been posted as a technical issue, but I'm reposting it as a bug because it's so fatal that the game can't be started.

We suspect a server-side problem or data inconsistency, so please check it out!

Also, if anyone has the same problem, please help!

### Situation
- When left-clicking in the main menu to go to the lobby, after transitioning to the loading screen, the error "Disconnected: Detected Data Mismatch" appears and returns to the main menu.

### Conditions
- Logged in for the first time after a break of 1-2 years

### Tried
- Reinstall the game
- Re-login
- Change launcher
  - Origin
  - EA App
  - Steam
- Ask my friend to log in from the problematic PC with his account (he was able to log in from the PC)
- Check internet connection
- Review/disable firewall settings
- Delete all temporary files under User/AppData/
  - All EA folders
  - All Origin folders
  - All Steam folders
- Disabling Cloud Sync
  - Steam
  - EA App(By blocking EALocalHostSvc.exe on firewall)
- Regenerating config.cfg under Users/UserName/Saved Games/Respawn/ by deleting the directory


Please let me know if there is anything else I can try.

now the issue seems to being investigated. waiting for an announcement from an official channel.

    Issue should now be fixed! (At least, for the most part)

    A server patch for this issue was released 40-ish minutes ago, so hopefully it should be fixed now.

    EDIT:

    This patch seems to only fix the recent increase of this issue, so a decent chunk of players should see this resolved hopefully.

    If you're still encountering it, then you should try to repair/validate your game files, if it still persists try reinstalling the game to see if that fixes it.

    You guys might've already tried those steps before, though it's still worth a shot due to the new server patch.

    From what I've heard, the server patch was intended to fix a decent chunk of players encountering this, so it's still possible for players to encounter it.

    Try repairing/validating the game files, if it persists then you could try reinstalling the game.

    I know you probably have tried this before, though it's still worth a shot to try it again due to the recent server patch.

  • For over a month I've been unable to log into Apex.I've contacted support dozens of times with no resolution. I've also contributed to multiple threads related to the same topic:

    Support has had me reinstall the game, repair game files, try logging in through the EA launcher, try logging in through Steam, creating a new user on my Windows computer, logging in through a VPN. None of these solutions work. If I login through the EA launcher my account cannot connect to a lobby. It attempts multiple times and eventually fails. Through Steam I get an error "Disconnected: detected data mismatch".

    I have been able to create new accounts and play on them fine using the same computer. My original account does not work on any other device either.

    Before being completely locked out, for a while when I would log into Apex my account would be in one of two states. Either I would have all of my cosmetics and currency, or I would have no cosmetics, but hundreds of loot boxes available to open. When I tried to purchase the latest battle pass I became completely locked out of my account.

    To me this seems like an issue with two accounts that might have been merged into one when Origin went away, but that's just a guess. Any help would be appreciated.

    they just dont care i think i been posting on this forum a lot like you ! same on reddit or discord i was chatting with the support too and no one wad able to help me this is terrible for real
