Can you hear me? Does anyone at EA/Respawn want to fix this? Switching mics, consoles, deleting MAC addresses, throwing the headset, crying, etc. None of it works. It’d be great to be able to have working game chat. If you can read, you’d see that there’s quite a few of us with this issue. Do better.
This chat hasn't even seen a response from a moderator. The other forums have been a week without a response. This is one of the cases where no news is not good news. Can we please have an update on the status of this?

Yeah, crickets. I’ve called EA customer service three times, with three different tickets. They act is if it’s the first time they’re hearing about it each time I call. When I initially called, halfway through season 12, the agent I spoke with said my Apex account was bugged and he’d reach out to Respawn. After we hung up, he closed the ticket. This has been frustrating and confusing. Clearly, there’s a decent group of us dealing with this, but there’s a communication gap between us and customer-service, and EA and their employees.
It's pretty wild that this bug has been around for as long as it has without being fixed.
A lot of people are having this issue on Xbox since the update. Mic cuts in and out and most the time it doesn’t even show up as working. Also sound was screwed so people have to use stereo.

The next gen Xbox is still having in game chat issues. The mic doesnt register for 2 seconds before picking up audio. This issue has been on this thread since it happened and already the new season is out without a fix..

I am not able to use game chat. My mic works fine in other games and party chat. My friend on Playstation and also random team mates have told me that they can't understand me because my mic keeps cutting out. There is also no visual for when I am talking even though they can hear me talking. The mic symbol is next to my name but it does not change when I talk. I have tried reinstalling, clearing alternate MAC address, updated my controller, and reset my router. also tried switching accounts. It still does not work on the new account. This means it's probably something with my network or possibly my Xbox and it's connection to apex.
The headset works fine. Party chat works fine. There is no problems with game chat in other games, it is only apex.
This has been going in since the March 29 update. In other games, and xbox party chat, my audio is fine. When I use the xbox in game chat my teammates literally cant hear me. Even when they can hear me it is laggy and constantly cutting in and out.
I have tried several controllers and headsets. it is idefinitely an in game audio issue, i have this issue with no other games. its been nearly 2 months, please fix this.
Platform: Xbox Series X
Issue: As a player my voice is not "broadcast" to my squad, preventing me from communicating. This is especially problematic during ranked play.
Duration: This issue started during the first half of Season 12 and has persisted through Season 13 despite receiving and installing multiple game updates.
Detailed issue and steps taken to resolve:
My voice is not audible to any of the players in my squad. The grayed-out speaker icon appears appropriately beside my name in a match. The icon does not "activate" and show as transmitting when I am talking. Voice chat works in other Xbox games and in an Xbox party "layered" over Apex Legends. This issue is unique to the Apex Legends game.
Settings: All of voice communication settings in Apex Legends are as "open" as possible. All voice communication settings at the Xbox-level are wide open, with all permissions granted.
Hardware: This problem persists across three different microphones and three different Xbox controllers. This includes the Xbox Wireless Headset (connecting through Bluetooth), the wired Xbox Wired Headset, and the included voice-chat only headset.
Connection: Resetting the consoles MAC address does not remedy the issue. The NAT is "Open," and there are no connection issues or potential hiccups identified by the Xbox connection configuration test.
Cache and hard reset: Factory resetting the Xbox Series X to clear the hard drive and cache and reinstalling Apex Legends does not remedy the issue.
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. At this point in time I cannot effectively participated in Ranked matches, and I am less inclined to purchase each season's Battle Pass. I play Apex Legends less often due to this issue.
