Can yall please get rid of this stupid thing? It sucks when your team abandons you and I'm waiting for nothing.

@SlivPTS Well I’ve seen some stupid reasons in this game that makes you think twice, so leaving ‘early’ in the situation you mentioned wouldn’t even surprise me...
i.e. being all alone in since beginning, leave the match and still get penalty...

why you want to leave? squad is earning you RP. Longer they will survive less RP you will lose (or you can even earn).
devs don't want players from incomplete squads to leave game immediately. And since you can't lose RP, it's stupid to not try to earn some (hotdrop and try to kill someone)... again, you have nothing to lose.
If you still want to leave = suicide.

@SlivPTS If it wasn’t a generalized rhetorical ‘why you wanna leave’; Why you assuming I want to leave? Like I’ve stated multiple times, I dont play ranked and likely won’t play it either. After what I’ve seen what kind of campfest hullabalooza it was last season, I can’t be bothered.
And a possible reasons for wanting to leave when queue’d up alone:
1) Don’t wanna play hitman evolved style
2) Having a full rambo mode style
3) boring alone
4) chances of earning lots of RP is basically out the window@Koochi-QIf you're still having nightmares from Wattson meta last season, you may be pleased to know she's very rarely played this season, even in diamond games (well, yet, that will definitely change in diamond/pred games when everyone sees competitive meta is still the same).
Also, the new scoring system also encourages more active play, and that can be felt very profoundly in reality (especially if you like starting in Capitol).
Last survivors quitting can also help enemy teams get more RP by pushing up their placement. For example, you may have friends in enemy teams, so you can avoid some fights to let your squad mates die, then avoid picking up their banners so that you remain solo. At this point, you can quit and push your friends one place up if they're still in the game, while also taking out of the match the RP that another enemy would get by killing you. Considering this perspective, getting a leaver penalty makes sense even if your chances of surviving alone are slim.
I'd say that players should get some form of punishment from killing themselves as well, like a few RP if they jump off the map or die in the lava or outside the ring without an enemy damaging them in the previous 20-30 seconds. Or maybe fixed costs, -10 RP for falling off the map, -1 RP per tick when outside the ring or walking on lava.

@Biochemikas lolz I hardly saw wattson’s... just 3 ppl in corners of buildings or near edges xD. Once even a team up top and a team below without them apparently knowing they were like 30 feet from each other xD.
I didn’t play much ranked but progressed well throughout, but teammates kept dragging me down so screw that xD
