Apex legends abandon penalty

No matter why you leave you shouldn't be getting getting banned in the other game modes like you not allowing a player to play your game less activity like atleast let me play casual 1600 minutes I can't play Apex fr fr a day. Apex why.

People who want to leave, will do so when if they punished, and they just sit out the timer by playing on their phone. Also you normally wouldn't want players like that in your squad anyway, because usually if they don't die and leave right away, they will * you over little bit further into the round.

And if they leave and get punished, it does nothing for decent players, it's same as before.

This system is a half assed discouragement attempt for * at best, and huge inconvenience for legit players at worst. There is reason why not many games use this, because in the long run the positives are not worth of frustrating normal players.

I think there is a simple solution... ADD DUOS AND SOLOS. Done deal. Then you don’t have to wait for some potato aim  for 15 min sitting in corners all game. Just add to the game not take away play time. I agree it’s dumb, but there are other ways to counter it.

ALSO if they do not pick up your banner intentionally. I understand if not able for whatever reason but I just got abandon penalty for leaving when they were not in battle, fully healed looting death boxes and what do you know, I timed out for Respawn. I'm pretty sure they didnt want me there it was pretty clear so how did I make it harder exactly? Cry me a river.

Finally we have a penalty because i was so fed up with people dying and leaving while i was on my way to get the banner, or even worse leaving when i was enganging a fight just for them, in order to (try to) clear the area and respawn them safely!

Not even need to mention when someone drops far away, die or simply are downed, you go to pick them up and they leave. 

If the decision was up to me the time ban was up to hours since the first time you quit a game. 

I do not even see duos as an option as it will happen exactly the same; solo can be the way to go but if you just need to feed your ego go and play other games! 

Why should you be forced to play with people you don’t want to? How is duos not an option? Majority of the time I play with one friend. I want to just team up with him and drop. When our teammates die they leave anyway. No matter what. Banning players for simply leaving because they don’t want to wait for their “teammate” to finish the game is dumb. It’s a part of the game. Many times I’m in a fight with my friend and we are fighting multiple teams. We end up dying while the random is sitting in the corner or running the other way. I’m sorry but I’m not watching this person play. Not everyone is like you and goes out of their way to help. Have you ever left a game before? You probably have.

”Go play another game” haha come on man! Apex is still a good game and I want to play it. Maybe people can give their feedback of what they are experiencing too without others coming down on them. Thanks bye👋

@asukojo I think yours sounds like a good idea.

I don't play the game, but my son does, he is 19 but has a learning disability which impacts his impulse control and so if he is not being supported in the game he will rage quit.  I understand him receiving a penalty for abandoning teammates (to a certain extent), but he is amassing penalties that are days long now.  His current one is over 5000hours!  How is that even possible?  It feels broken to me.

@SlivPTS Did you miss the part where I said he has a learning disability?  Turns out no games are for him.  He is unable to work, unable to read or paint to entertain himself and is unable to be outside by himself.  That pretty much leaves him gaming and watching films.  Turns out no games are made with people like him in mind.  Forgive me if I don't cry a river for those squads whose game have been 'ruined'.  You'll also have to forgive me for not caring a damn about your opinion given your callous and ableist attitude!

You say: ' "feels broken"? I can tell you what is broken... but you already know it.'  I have put up with people like you having disgusting attitudes towards my son his whole life, you are nothing special, I've had people tell me I should chain him up in the garden like a dog, so thanks for being offensive and ableist, but you can keep those opinions to yourself, and frankly it's only evidence that you are the broken one.

I posted on here in the hope that someone might be able to direct me to help him stop getting penalties or play the game in a way which they don't occur, but of course instead I will suffer abuse as though I personally lost the game for you.  I wonder, are you one of those people who woud also call him names in the street having disdain for me for daring to allow him to be outside where good decent 'normal' people would have to be aware that he exists, or are you the kind that only thinks it's acceptable to be a horrible person from your keyboard?

Don't bother replying, I really don't care.  Maybe you should just have a little think to yourself, and then consider growing up and trying to become a decent human being.

You see lad, i do not have friends to play with so, duos it's maybe a solution for you but not for me.

I bet that when playing with your friends you leave the 3rd mate all by himself and this is a fact 99% of the times (i am talking about experience now) and that's the main reason why randoms mates usually do not care when you are fighting... and must say that's fair enough!

I usually help my mates because i always hope they will do the same when i need it. 

Let me say, dude, that you are not playing the game the right way hence you must find the game that fit the best to what you are looking for.

Rage quitting from either bad match making with noobs that don’t bother to get your banner! Or from just getting genuinely annoyed with the game ie laggy hit box death or some sort of glitchy play, which happens! 
I might rage quit once or twice a week and you get double the punishment with points and time penalty! It is just to far!!
It’s the serial leavers that leave every other game but to be punished on the odd occasion is just ridiculous!? 
Please remove it or actually test it out properly as this punishes the wrong people.
