How come that...
...People almost always jump into busy areas? (and die, obviously) ...(my) People never stick together? (and die, obviously) ...My bullets pretty much always miss despite my crosshair being flextap...
Not too bad, assuming your packet loss was minimal too if you're hardwired in.
In which case it'll be net code issues with the whole getting melted in an instant, either that or your being clocked on the noggin a lot. Death reports will confirm which it is.
As for random squads being pretty lackluster. You'll never be able to fix that lmao, my only suggestion would be to try and guide them in the right path using a mic. Some players won't respond but they will be more receptive.....won't guarantee you the wins of course but it may improve your odds of survival somewhat.
Obviously i don't know how well you play, but regularly practicing recoil control and evasive movements for a little while before jumping into the game goes a long way to helping you out too....even if its just as a warm up.
Sorry i can't be of more help than that!
Thank you, every advice is appreciated.
I am currently playing mainly with sniper rifles, mostly the Sentinel, or the legendary one if I get my hands on one. For close combat the Mosambik. Mostly using either Pathfinder or Bloodhound, as both somewhat fit my play style of high mobility or perceptional combat. My two friends are both Mirage and Lifeline.
They, too, have the problem of bullets missing despite having the crosshair directly onto the enemy, and the Mirage is mainly using AR's. Although all of us encountered the problem yesterday of sneaking up behind an enemy, shooting right into the head but still missing. Which is extremely weird considering we were 2 meters behind him.
@apostolateofDOOM Agreed for the most part, although i wouldn't go for a wingman seconding a sniper either, the sway can be unforgiving especially on the move...unless you're experienced with the gun its a hindrance more than a help.
@Peri_Longbow_plz Smg/AR is the preference as a secondary as you can still maintain the pressure if you need to while closing down distance, or deal with any unwanted arrivals on your location. Like doom said the r99 is a solid choice as its a good all rounder.
Mozzy is certainly an unwise secondary choice when sniping though, if you're positions compromised and you've got an enemy right on top of you you're going to need 4 accurate bique shots realistically to drop an enemy if they're in purple....seeing as the gun has 3 rounds per reload you're gonna either have to weapon switch to your sniper which will be a high risk...or reload which again is a high risk.
@MandatoryIDtagIt's not just sniping in general. He's specifically pairing the Sentinel with the Mozambique because it can theoretically 2 shot: one charged shot from Sentinel + 1 hammerpoint round from Mozzy = you're crawling. (Unless I'm giving him far too much credit, which is also a possibility.)
That said, I agree with you. It's a neat combo but it's purely relegated to fulfilling some kind of video game bucket list. Not suited for competitive - or even regular - gameplay.
As for gun effectiveness: R99 is a solid choice, but the Prowler is ultimately the better option if you can find all the upgrades. A fully upgraded R99 will still do slightly less DPS/have significantly more recoil/have significantly less damage per magazine/use far more ammo/have inferior hipfire than the fully upgraded Prowler.
That said, it's a much better gun if you don't have access to any upgrades, or can't find a selectfire.
