This is what the community is asking for. Not to change some values in the code, like lowering TTK. Not to over-tune Ash, she was plenty strong before the update. Cheaters need to be dealt with. Lowering the TTK just made it worse. 20 tick servers are complete trash for FPS games, then you have the audacity to lower the TTK?! The only players that benefit are people with unnaturally good aim and cheaters. There's no time to react now. Stop flip flopping trying to figure out what your game is. Make smaller changes to shake up the meta and freshen up the game, not these huge sweeping changes. Honestly, PLAY YOUR OWN GAME! Get some new talent in that actually plays the game daily. You're out of touch. Loaded into one game, didn't get any teammates (ranked), bumped into someone fighting another team in storm 2, got one shot by random Wraith in the storm from some random angle. This was in Bronze because I haven't been feeling the update. Which has only be validated every time I give it a shot again. I was playing daily, but this blows. This is the worst season since you mixed Preds with everyone else and you could climb to Masters by hiding in the Storm. You guys suck at this.

Yeah, every match is nothing but cheaters running around one shotting everybody. About 75% of every mixtape lobby is cheaters, and that probably holds true for br too since I get one shotted first enemy I meet in every match. Only kills I've gotten for this new season are from blind siding a cheater while they are one shotting multiple enemies and distracted. My question is why are they catering to these cheaters for? Is this really the demographic that spends the most? They make it where shots don't even count for legit players that spent thousands of hours honing their skills so that players with no skill can kill anyone instantly in under 3 shots. This is ridiculous.They banned that config cheat that allows tap and neo strafing for one day and these so called pros whine like babies that they are leaving apex for fortnite or other games if they don't allow it again. One said that program allows for 1000 inputs per second. It was fun that day watching these people die much faster than me because I realized I have much more skills than they do since they can't survive without mods. I wish they would stop this cheater meta and put the game back to what it was. If the cheaters quit so what? Get the old players back that left through a promotion by putting the game back to what it used to be and banning all of the cheaters. They whine on the net let them whine, tell them to go to Fortnite and see if they will put up with their 1000 inputs per second and one shotting every enemy they see. I guarantee they won't last 3 days at Fortnite. Then they can come back here to Apex and learn some skills in the firing range through honest hard work like I had to.

Unplayable. Tried again, no idea why. Hear shots at Fight night, go to check it out. Get beamed by someone I can't even see. Keep in mind, I'm no where near it yet, just heard the shots and walked towards it. Playing Ash, so I see a couple of fresh Death Boxes, but not a full wipe though. Proceeded to get chased down after my teammate got insta-melted, and then lose to some "Rookie" player. Which half my shots wouldn't register properly. They're the only one on their team with damage and kills btw. I don't know what else to say at this point. COMPLETE, and UTTER GARBAGE of a season. Raise the tick rate, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE CHEATERS, raise the TTK, and most importantly, PLAY YOUR OWN F'ING GAME!!! You need to play daily to understand why you're changing values, tweaking legends, raising or lowering the TTK. You're clueless Respawn. Stop listening to stock holders, they don't play your game.

Your not wrong. The only ones who benefit are the pro's and the cheaters. I been hearing some pros say, "oh but now anyone can kill faster" . They love the new update, because it just buffs a skill they already had. My point is, the better players, the cheaters and controller aim assisters all have yet another advantage over the casual player who doesn't spend hours and hours perfecting their aim....most likely because they have real jobs and cant spend every waking moment playing games and working on aim skill.If your in a lobby with "average skill" players, then you actually have a chance of getting a kill or not being killed in a fraction of a second. You get any of the smurfs in there, and there are literally tons of them, then your just cannon fodder for their stats, which is gonna drive people away from the game. That's the truth. I doubt very much the devs even consider these factors.

It's unplayable for me at the moment. There's no time to react, like it wasn't great before, but at least you could take damage for a split second and make a move. Now, I'm left with 10 hp after I peek someone. I always have around 30 ping, and it feels like I'm getting punished for it. I have pretty decent aim, but yeah, either people are on roller, practice A LOT, or just cheat. It's really impossible to keep up even if you are fairly sweaty yourself. My setup is all geared towards playing competitively in shooters, and it just feels like I can't do anything this season. Even if I'm doing alright, my teammates always seem to just get deleted instantly first. I'm pretty frustrated with this, and looks like others are too. The numbers are really starting to drop today, and it's only been a week? I'll come back after they sort this out, but until then, I'm playing anything but this garbage of a season. It truly feels like they don't understand what their game is at this point. This is just wildly throwing things at the wall, seeing what sticks. There needs to be more thought put into the tuning of their sandbox. Thanks for responding.

I agree with you, I'm not liking it all that much. So frustrating being melted in a fraction of a second. I watched a very popular streamer get so frustrated he told the stream he had to quit. You could tell he was about to literally lose his marbles. That's a pro pred player, and I've been watching many of them to get a good idea of what the general consensus on the changes are. Some say they like it...until they get absolutely melted, then they are in disbelief and the excuse train begins, but we all know...its all good when it works for you and you have a 3 stacked team just steam rolling everyone, but outside of that, being insta melted can change that tune very quickly. lolMy fav game, and I really don't enjoy playing it so much anymore. Too much waiting around, for some real crappy team mates, maybe a bit of loot if your lucky, followed by insta melt death because I don't have the reflexes and aim of a aircraft carrier Phalanx system lol. Not a fun experience anymore.

Every meta is subjective some people love this Ash dash some hate it, same thing was with every meta since they started to introduce these absurdly stronger champs every season, but one thing is for certain and this season is just another smoke and mirrors nonsense that didn't change anything, that thing is that Apex is a great game, but terrible customer experience and quite possibly the worst piece of software currently yet only thing they change is gameplay and monetisation practices, 6 years of non stop neglect for Apex as a piece of bloody software...

Last year at this time, there were approx 465,000 concurrent players on Apex. That number has dwindled down to approx 125,000 concurrent players now. That is a huge drop. I think that is directly related to too much messing around with the game with mass sweeping changes and of course, the sheer amount of cheating going on. People just find it unplayable now with an emphasis on...its not enjoyable anymore, they are not having fun. It has driven hard core, loving it people away from the game. Some very bad , bad decision making. Fire them all ! lol

This is the kind of **bleep** that a lot of people use in this game. I constantly feel how many people are wallhacking me. It's just amazing that turning on **bleep** like that doesn't automatically get you kicked out and banned.
