I hate cheaters in everygame. I enjoyed this game in ps4 and love IT on PC. But I got crashed apex.exe error 3 of every 5 games, I was waiting for a patch to repair that but guess what, got banned, I have never used hacks and I dont know why got banned, if I dont get an unban then ill continúe my life. If they ban legit legit players cant Walt to see this in the future lmao.
Got curious how the hackers are reacting to the new hardware bans, so I started roaming around some cheater forums. (safely behind proxies, of course) Looks like some of the cheat suppliers have pinpointed that the "hardware ban" is centered around registry keys being added or flagged. So deleting or changing said registry keys results in *poof* no ban, and then the user simply makes a new account. So, if the rumors are true, it's not a real hardware ID ban in the general sense.
I have no knowledge if this is true or not. It could just be hack sellers trying to convince their customer base to continue buying their cheats. Or it could be real. I have not been banned, and I'm not stupid enough to dig deeper into messing with stuff and end up getting banned.
And before anybody asks: NO.

I will not suggest what keys or how to alter them. I do not have this knowledge.
I don't hack, do not condone hacking multiplayer games, nor will I help others hack.
Just reporting grapevine rumors as I find them.

you need to reformat your pc. And this time don't install any free or shady software. Lower graphics settings to the lowest settings and lower resolution down a notch. No matter how high end you think your system is.
Please ban my hardware Lololol. My HID / MAC spoofer will get me around that one. Lol. It’s freeware. Come on... is this the best Respawn has got? They lost this fight at launch if so. Ip’s and Mac ids are easy to spoof. They need to bring it a bit harder to stop a real cheater. If I pay for my cheats what makes you think I won’t have hw Id spoofers? Lol
adding in a junk registry item and a sw and hw list could help id hw spoofers. they match the registry junk, the hw list, the sw list, they are put on a watchlist for hacking. hackers wont clean their registry anymore than regular people unless they make a tool to do it and put it on the hacking forum. so you could make a cookie list to add to the hw scan and this adds to the id list. again the hacker might delete their cookies religiously but probably not then the cookies make them and the sw and hw and registry key give notice they might be a hacker and be put on the hacking watchlist.
I think that many don't know that HWID ban is on.
Just reported a cheater using speedhack/wallhack and suspected aimbot. Reported him to EAC and Origin (his profile) with video. I hope he get's a HWID ban.
Just softban them - once malicious software is detected lock them in their own infested queue. And don't tell them about it, let them play with each other.
Perma-banning them just makes them to create another account, and it solves nothing since the game is F2P.
Second cheater using speedhack/wallhack/aimbot reported tonight, cheating on EU zone. Reported with video to EAC and Origin (on his profile).
I hope he get a HWID ban.
How hard is for the server to detect a speedhacker and ban him fast? Not that hard.
@AzGoshawk, anything past 100 mph should be an insta ban. 🤔
Catching and stopping a 1000 mph hacker though! That's hard! *laughing*
Seriously, I think that would be very simple to monitor. 😃
When you look at the BIG picture though, that's another thing the servers will have to track.
Let us allow Respawn to work on the servers and make them stable first.
They are extremely close! I had one slow server within a 2 hour period.
Once that's done, I don't see why Respawn couldn't integrate it?
Till then @AzGoshawk, you have to report those players the old fashion way.

Tonight already reported with video 2 speedhackers and 1 wallhacker. The wallhacker was so obvious, special when he aims to a tree to hit a player that is little far behind that tree, and then later he repeats the same thing, aims to a bush to hit a player that was running behind it.
Not only reported on that link but also on Origin cheaters profile.
