Wait till after a sip of coffee for your abilities to activate then go for a smoke so the server can even realise what you're doing.Can't bounce on zipline because shooting in a straight line is hard enough apparently and same with shooting the base of caustic traps before it activates.Nerf or remove all the abilities or weapons that help a good player carry a team and buff those that are irrelevant or useless.That's just in this update! Maybe you should just take guns out the game and give us all a coloured crayon because you don't want to promote violence.. Jeez.Edit: Look forward to all the game breaking bugs we'll have to deal with for MONTHS after the next update too!

@apostolateofDOOMThe zipline thing doesnt make any sense to me. Who cant jump on a zipline?

The only thing I can think is they dont want pros using it in tournaments at the end game. But it is a bit silly to make a change this big just for that. And honestly the pro tournaments I've seen it done I thought it was quite cool.
As a caustic main I dont like the barrel thing because the best way to penetrate a caustic or wattson controlled house is to throw traps through the windows.

@hayhor Lolz the only ppl not bothered by the zipline is new ppl or ppl that think too fast to pull it off successfully which gives off a good mindset to where apex updates are aimed at.

Think about it. All these changes in this update seem to be catered towards fairer play for low-mid lvl players/casuals.

The Rev no range (I’m a rev main tbc), more stuff for lifeline (to contend with the ppl coming for you), wraith seeing enemies but nerf in speed and so on.

Yes, some buffs were welcome for all skill lvls like double jump octane (have to see how this goes), but most cater to the lower skillz at least from my point of view.

@hayhor I don't understand it either. If they don't want you to do it indefinitely then I can understand the logic behind it (although I 100% don't agree with it) but if you can't jump, bounce and manoeuvre for at least 10 secs as much as you want then this decision was totally braindead and made by someone who clearly doesn't play the game often, if at all.

@Koochi-Q I agree with you they're accommodating new players to the best of their ability but pushing people away who are already having fun and enjoy the game is not a great way for them to invite their friend and increase the player base, which clearly shows in current player numbers.

Rev buff probably isn't as drastic as it's made out because if it's to far then it gives opponents time to rez and heal before that second push. Although granted was a welcome change.

Same with Lifeline. I get the independent revive ''buff'' but how useful is she to revive 2 when you generally only pick people up after a fight (gaining a few seconds at most) or when a 3rd party distracts. Unless of course you're lucky.
Now has zero combat utility. Even with her tactical cd reduction, the amount of times that's useful is situational as you have to be stationary to get full use out of it which in a ''fast paced shooter'' or higher ranks at least, is not that often.
Imo, Octane was the only positive from all this and not to stereotype but most of those that play him are stoners.. xD

@xMaxrayx I don't have a problem with 3rd partying although at times when you're worse off for it can obviously be frustrating but taking away your ability to deal with such situations is annoying.

@apostolateofDOOM Exactly as you stated, but we all know a chunk of the oldschoolers already left. It’s only the masochistic ones that still play (occasionally) because they hope that the game will be good again xD. So they’re not gonna inv friends

I only see a need for the duo revive when you squad wiped and your own squad is down but usually by that time another team is upon you xD

Can’t believe they did my boy Mirage like that. Enemies can basically see you if they’re close, not to mention hear you.

Yeah I'm seriously not impressed by the caustic nerf.
They take a week to inflate and can now potentially be shot before they even manage that...I mean what the hell. XD
