Apex lag issues with ps5

Hey guys. I’ve been having some consistent problems playing apex on my ps5. I’ll regularly get the latency symbol and my game will skip and I’ll be walking and it’ll skip and send me back steps. Also when I try to pick up items it’ll take a few tries because it keeps putting them back down due to the skipping. I’ll also get the speedometer symbol but I’m not sure what that one is. When it gets bad, the game will basically freeze other than me being able to look around from where I’m standing using the right stick. Everything else will be frozen. 

i don’t know much about tech but I have an Ethernet cord plugged into the console. I also have 319mbps download speed and 11.5 mbps upload speed. My boyfriend has a pc he uses for apex and has no issue. He also has an Ethernet cord plugged in.
