Grey Skins + Trouble Loading into Game

Hello! Within the past two seasons, I have had excessive trouble being able to load into to Apex itself as well as into matches. Every time that I launch the game, I am met with "Loading and Compiling Shaders ___/____," and I will usually have to wait somewhere between 5-10 minutes. Having played the game on Steam for around 4 years now, this has only been an issue the first 1-2 times booting up the game after most major updates were released, but, as of late, it happens during practically every launch. Not only that, but I will usually be met with grey, muted figures in place of most skins for every legend (example attached below), with it taking even longer for them to load in once I have actually made it into the lobby. Every match usually ends up being a laggy mess, and I am not even brought out of the loading (after a super long wait time just before actually starting to connect with other players) screen for them. To make up for this, I will usually load into the firing range first in order to get any lag/loading out of the way, but even this has not been working lately. I have tried lowering my graphics settings, updating my graphics driver, clearing the cache, reinstalling the game, etc.; though, it seems to have been to no avail. It very well could be that my gaming laptop has just become too outdated to run Apex as it continues to release updates, but I would really appreciate it if anyone were to have any advice or just confirmation of similar issues as a way of saying that I am not the only one with this problem. I just want to be able to play one of my favorite games again :') Thank you for your time!
