I found out that my Steam account is linked to the wrong EA Account

I found out that my Steam account is linked to the wrong EA Account, will I still be eligible for Cross Progression if I transfer the Steam account to the correct EA account?

    @DarrDane 

    Account data is stored on the EA account itself, so if you were to relink it from one EA account to another then you would lose in-game progression.

    Currently there isn't any way to properly merge 2 different EA accounts.
