Stuttering issues after genesis update
The game has become impossible to play as it sttuters even on champion screem. I skip frames in fights. Cant even play arenas. I am on origin. I repaired the game with lastest nvidia drivers. Sea...

@NoJamBros21It doesnt seem like EA Help is speaking about the same issue. I just forced my way through a few matches to get that Rampart skin and quit immediately because I almost threw up my lunch with how bad the freezing and stuttering is.
Also it IS NOT A CONNECTION ISSUE. This is on their end as we have come to the conclusion time and time again. So that tweet is not speaking on this issue. It is an optimization issue due to load in times and how processing times work.
EDIT: Some folks have said a fast SSD has helped them with this issue, others say it hasn't. Still the only solution I have found is to play on a current gen console ( Series S or X) which shouldn't be the only solution but sadly is at the moment.

If Respawn actually provides the solution I will be shocked (lets face it.. they are like 99% focused on new skins for season 10 right about now and the other 1% is the intern getting the skins team donuts). But somewhere out there in the night, a lone hero is working on the problem, and when all hope appears lost they will appear.

There's an update available as of 4 minutes ago (464 MB on Steam).
Hopefully it fixes this issue. Go check it out bois.

Unfortunately, I'm still getting 100% CPU usage even after the update
- @arrecebia I've only played a few games of Arenas & a brief play on training mode & I've still been experiencing lag-spikes & stuttering issues .I'd Give it 1-2 days & see if it works after that as that was previous life span of the previous patches.

this problem has been around for several seasons, they promised that they would fix nothing, there are a lot of topics about it on reddit or other sites, just get inspired, and I tell you for the last time that they won't fix it, the stuttering problem occurs in many people in this game , I have RTX 2070 Ryzen 5 3600 3200mhz ram 144hz fps monitor I have nothing falling down, and since the 7th season I can't play this game because I have stuttering and my fps is not dropping, I don't have the strength to play this game, I wish you good luck with idiots who do nothing with this game are just counting on money

Ever tried update your GPU driver?There's a guide on Steam that said this could help the CPU usage issue, never tried it myself but i'm just gonna share it here.

I've already tried everything literallyPardon my ignorance regarding CPU Usage (or lack of knowledge about it) but does it not only affect/apply to PC users & not consoles as the only possible solutions I've read for it seem revolve around PC's.
- my fps in the game is ok, I have no drops, CPU usage is ok too, I have updated everything, windows, drivers, I tried to install even older ones, I browsed a lot of pages, changed the settings in the game, config, I optimized windows for games, I used programs like rivatuner, quickcpu, nvidiafps cap, and no matter if I have fps blocked or not stuttering all the time in the game, I tried to install the game on hdd, ssd, m2, recently I even bought a new rtx 2070 graphics card, before that I had a gtx 1070t and it did not work, I turned on xmp and also turned off, I installed the latest bios, nothing too, no power plans, I note that every other game runs smoothly without stuttering it occurs only in this game, also the fault lies in the optimization of the game, not my hardware

Once again I am asking for a patch. At this rate we are probably not gonna get this resolved till next season.
