unplayable w. audio

i am so lost, i haven't ever had audio problems but a couple days a go the audio became awful. a team respawning will sound right above my head but be 3 pois away, gun shots have no directional sound ill be looking at 2 teams fighting an still believe they are behind me. no difference between teammates and enemies steps, ive been shot in the back by sprinting or climbing enemies with 0 audio almost every other game. no idea what to do
