Apex Legends and Audigy 5Rx is freezing

Hello,

I am playing on a PC running Windows 11 64-bit. The game starts freezing just a few minutes after launching. I have checked everything I could, including the RAM, but the issue persists. It turns out that the game completely freezes along with the Windows system, making it impossible to do anything.

The issue seems to be related to my Creative Audigy 5Rx sound card. When I physically remove the sound card from my PC (disconnect it), the game runs normally without any problems. I have installed the latest drivers from the Creative website.

Please help resolve this issue.

    Perhaps, but it doesn't solve the problem. In addition, I have an internal audiocard.

    Возможно причина в атичите, который не очень любит интеграцию внешних устройств.

    Aledreon​ My sound card is not old enough for the game to not support it. Moreover, I have reinstalled the drivers several times, but it didn't help. I also performed a clean boot.

    Goodnews_Im_Fuse​  Попробуйте поставить только драйвер для audigy 5rx, без приложения, и посмотрите как будет работать игра. Возможно, что игра не поддерживает данное устройство вывода звука.
