It's possible if the software is deemed to go against the Positive Play Charter and User Agreement.

However, the full details behind the ban will only really be known to EA's Terms of Service team. They are also the only people who can overturn a ban.
The ToS team allow three appeals before they will no longer accept any more, so if you have information that you feel refutes the ban then it would be worth appealing again.
