Its difficult to find a lobby without cheaters in when playing in EU /Scandinavia. In most of the rounds there are players who (1) kill everyone with one shot, ( or 2 ) without even pointing with gun or (3) from dead angles. They also sometimes dont register any hits themselves.
Reporting them does not do anything. We all know EA / Dice does not care about gaming community. I wonder is same **bleep** ongoing in other areas too? Do they think we are going to buy BF6 after all this?
it is nice, REALLY NICE, as BF2042 finds matches within the EU area again ...
but also there come the cheaters .. alone today i have reported about a DOZEN fresh-made accounts (below Lv50) in BF2042 Conquest throughout 5 matches only. A new record !!!
Aimbot/Aimlock as well as the rarer Wallhack/ESP .. of these ~12 reported players just 2 of them had potentially used a wallhack or esp .. they had blatantly begun with wallhack then also enabled aimbot/aimlock/no-recoil later in a match ..
the funny thing about this is: they had a low or negative K/D still .. and our team was still able to win ..
i literally have never seen these many cheater and their fresh accounts at once on a single evening yet .. until today
i again suggest to update the Javelin Anti-Cheat definitions again!!
Here is an answer that goes back to the original BF 2. We were allowed to run our own servers with PunkBuster installed if we wanted a national recognition (rank) to be able to play in ranked servers. When a team was invited to play, EVERYONE had to accept that their screen was being recorded, so that it could be scrutinized by official members, and if it was found that they were cheating... BANNED. Hardware, IP, CPU, GPU (they all have a S/N) would be excluded. So, even making a new account wouldn't just be enough. They would have to fork out an entire new $2000 + computer system to even begin playing again. Quite the expensive risk, I would say. Of course, when Vista came out, PunkBuster had a helluva time recording video because it would just show black screens, which a lot of times would register as a hack and a soft (shadow) ban until it could be proven otherwise, which fell on the player to prove.
Unfortunately, BF 6 is also facing the same dilemma where I have come into Official servers with people able to somehow shoot around corners for a kill they should never have got, or always a headshot from a jump. You can definitely tell the difference between a good player or a cheat by their stats. Usually, but not always they are on PC (easiest to hack), but they are cracking down on the Cronus/Zen users. Their PS5/Xbox could be banned as well, that can get expensive.
This is why I have pushed for co-op bot servers, or even Portal Bot servers with XP progress (as promised by advertisement before the game's release. This way people can play the way they want without cheaters being involved. BF 2042 should also look into these possible means to exterminate cheaters from their lobbies.
As EA's Javelin Anti-Cheat seems to work better than intended, i feel there are new hacks and cheats ongoing currently ..
Hardcoded cheats and hacks which cause heavy lags and performance loss in matches..
2 hours ago everything was fine .. until a very blatant rage cheater with aimbot appeared. since then, more cheater entered game, yeah, it is weekend .. since these cheater have joined today, server lag like **bleep** and every match includes at least one cheater .. if aimbot, aimlock and/or wallhack / esp ..
currently it is absolutely no fun to play, again .. infested by cheater who even cause heavy server performance loss and/or lags
encountering fresh accounts within level 20~50 ranges as well as uncatched level 500 cheater
please update the anti-cheat definitions again, if possible asap .. *Blasco's "thanks"*
