It's true. Playing on console with PC crossplay turned off is the most cheat free multiplayer experience available. There's still cheaters on console but not nearly as many as PC.

Don't run into too many cheaters, there are cheaters though. I just wish this new kernel mode anti-cheat worked better.
Wasn't that the whole idea behind kernel mode?

Sad thing is that there are actual gaming peripherals (monitors and keyboards) by big brand names that come with built-in software "cheats". I hope Dice has a plan in place to help negate the use of these particular peripherals for the next BF game.

Their anti cheat is broke

while ignoring players with 99% hit reg with LMGs - Queentutle123 days agoNew Novice
I just got banned yesterday and I don't even play online bc my internet is a joke. if I played online id get booted every 5 secs. I somehow got banned playing bots and sad thing is I don't cheat especially on bots lol. EA its self is a joke. How are you gonna charge people $50-$60 for your games than ban innocent people from the game entirely. Like I cant even open BF. They banned me from the entire game I cant even access bots which is what I always play. EA needs to get their stuff together.

There is no off-line mode to BF2042 that I'm aware of that's probably why you were banned, Queentutle1

I hadn't played in a long time. Only managed 3 or 4 games then banned.
Absolutely bizarre !
Awaiting my appeal. If a person actually looks at it (and not a bot) I can't see how the ban could possibly be enforced.
Frustrating having seen actual cheats clearing out servers with 200 plus kills spraying an LMG! - Doo-Doo-Draws23 days agoNew Veteran
Queentutle1 Like sk1lld said, there is no offline mode to play in Battlefield 2042. And according to your stats page, you have 0.2h of Battlefield 2042 playtime, so you couldn't have played for too long. Looks like whatever cheat you were using/testing was detected pretty quickly and you're now paying for your actions.
I truly hate it for those that may have been banned for no legit reason, but for those of you that do get caught cheating, good riddance! LOSERS!

I dont understand why I was banned though. Im definitely not cheating or hacking. Knowing my computer skills i would definitely break something lol. I play solo bots 99% of the time unless im playing bots with my husband. So im just trying to figure out what would have gotten me banned. I put my issue in steam discussion too, and people were saying it could be drivers, app overlays, other apps being open. All I know for sure is im to lazy to cheat. I feel like thats a lot of hassle and wrk just to suck the fun out of the game for stats.sk1lld

Idk what sorce your using but thats incorrect. Yes im newer to the game but I have 80 hrs in. I dont play a lot, I have a life outside of gaming. So just bc i dont have 500+ hrs on a game doesnt mean im a cheater. Also as ive stated multiple times I dont even know how to hack/ cheat. Doo-Doo-Draws Watch your sources. Thanks for the accusation though.
