Grappling Hook, what a disaster.
First off, it's very unrealistic. There will never be any use, in any near future, for grappling hooks to swing you across some distance and especially, to lift you up to higher surfaces, for obvious limitations in real-world physics. In the promo video you can see how the cable just goes through the physics of the crane, in reality, anything that is in the way of the cable would just block it from moving anywhere. There is also the fact of landing on to a surface with disregard to physics we are used to in BF series, the soldiers just gently lands on top of the crane,
There is simply nothing more unrealistic in the whole of BF series than this grappling hook,
I get a feeling that this g hook was added in order to make BF2042 a bigger experience, and consequently being jampacked with nonsensical features.
