I was on vacation for 10 days, yesterday I came back and I couldn't wait to play a game of BF 2042, but with great regret I couldn't play even one game. I tried to play all the modes and the wait is endless. Same thing about custom servers. I have to say that I don't have any kind of problem (connection, firewall, etc.), is it possible that in this period of time the game died?
Impossible to help without knowing what region you're in, what time of day, whether cross-play on or off, etc. Personally, I'm in the US, PS5 with crossplay on, and I was playing for hours yesterday in full servers.
Depending on where you're from, yesterday was a holiday and a workday so that could explain some of the wait. Are you able to doublecheck crossplay is turned on?
depends on the hours, in the morning of course there is no-one, try more late, like 3-5 pm when people get out of work and you will find more people, vacations also help
