Preordered from PS4; Shows "unavailble, not purchased" on PS5.
My son ordered the Battlefield 2042 Early Access Beta from his PS4.
Since that time, he bought a PS5. We did the data transfer from PS4 to the PS5 that one does when setting up the PS5 so his account is running properly on the PS5.
He can download the PS4 games he already owns onto his PS5 just fine.
The issue is when he goes to the PS Store on his PS5, it shows Battlefield 2042 Early Access Beta as "unavailable, not purchased."
How does this resolve?
@flexoffset ok so as you know the Gold and Ultimate edition are like a Bundle that includes PS4 and PS5 version od the game.
Basically both can be installed on the PS5 and you can choose which one you want to play then.
Cause i figured the PS4 ONLY version doesn't even appear in the PS5 store, same for the PS5 ONLY version doesn't appear in the PS4 store. Sure the PS4 version can be also moved to PS5 then, but just mentioning it's not appearing in the store at all.
Aa you bought the Gold Edition, check the following:
If you go to the Store, either PS4 or PS5 and search for "Battlefield 2042".
Click on each of the 3 Editions and if you're on the screen that says "not available" click on the window next to it that says "show more".
In your case in the Standard and Ultimate edition the pop-up window should say "you can't purchase it cause you already own Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition pre-order"
On the Gold Edition itself, it should show you in this pop-up window something like "you already bought this"
If that's the case, it should be all good. Just can't move it over to the PS5 yet probably cause it's not installed or even released yet.
