Re: 2042 has a Culture Problem

@Defias123 Oh come on. "Team" issues have been discussed since BF4. Changing classes of XP won't change anything.

And if you do it too much like in BF4 where you got a metric ton of XP for capturing a flag, people would gather up into a huge zerg and run around capturing flags instead of actually fighting.

Why would you fight enemy for 50-100XP if capturing a flag would give you 450-600XP

Repair XP is about the same as in BF4.

And no, there shouldn't be XP given for sitting 500 meters from the map and doing absolutely nothing. You either get in there and earn points for killing / capturing, or you don't.

@UP_LordPlumber Not sure what you're talking about here. I didn't mention flags. Yes capturing a Flag does not equal teamwork. I agree. As for the sitting 500 meters from the map, again not sure what you're talking about here. Didn't mention any of that. If you're talking about people using AA/AT or recon marking targets? Yes I think they need more recognition. Cause when you don't get those roles to do their job, you get all these threads screaming about how OP vehicles are.

Vehicles, AT, AA, Recon, support/medics, assault. These are all vital parts of a BF franchise game that allows it to stand out from CoD. If you remove these or nerf them to the point where nobody does them, the difference of this game to CoD gets smaller and smaller.
