I don't see why people don't like the specialists. It's not like they're new, every other Battlefield had them, they just added more and gave them a personality and that's pretty much it. I can't say that's a good reason for hating the game but people would nitpick anything.
@prodeckstacyI don't hate them. I just don't particularly like them if that makes any sense lol. The personalities aren't that good, and I don't think they've done a good job with abilities or balance. And allowing them all to equip gadgets like RPG, AA, Proximity grenade, etc.? These are some of the best items to specialize in:
- an AA specialist that is the only one with AA weaponry
- an EMP specialist being the only one who can equip EMP grenades and gadgets.
- an Anti Tank specialist with the RPGs and mines and extra armor
- and where's our ECM/Jammer specialist to counter all this scanning? That should be Rao imo.
- Paik should be doing what Rao is, not a wall hack, plus she should be the one with Proiximity grenades.
- Sundance grenades should be scatter only, not anti vehicle or EMP.
This is all basic balance stuff that every other hero shooter has, and that every class has had in Battlefield.
