Re: 7% accuracy
A few thoughts after reviewing your BF stats page.
- You've barely played, just two primary guns with more than 60 kills. Play more. Unlock the attachments. Learn the recoil patterns. Spend some time in the Portal 'Noname' Aim Trainer.
- Your top two non-shotgun primaries are high PRM guns - AM40 and AC9.
- High RPM guns typically trade in accuracy for DPS. Try using the lower RPM options.
- Hipfire kills make up over 50% of your kills. Hipfiring comes with a huge accuracy penalty. Try ADS'ing more.
- There's a lot of hidden accuracy mechanics. Study sym.gg.
- Your accuracy with these guns is 10%, which is still terrible, but much better than 7%. Typical accuracy would be closer to 18-25%.
- What is your setup like?
- Have you tried using your vintage 1996 trackball with your hands rather than your feet? Seriously though what mouse and mousepad are you using?
- Which monitor? How far away are you sitting from the monitor?
- What FoV setting are you using?
- What is your typical FPS?
- What is your typical ping?
- Ignore the shotgun accuracy.
- Shotgun accuracy can be over 100%. One shell shoots 5+ projectiles. If all projectiles hit you have 500%+ accuracy. I currently have 195% accuracy with the MCS-880.
- With a shotgun you're likely operating in more CQC engagements - it's likely not an apples to apples comparison.
- The projectile spread makes it more likely to get a 'hit' even with the same poor accuracy.
- Give us a gameplay video.
- I want to see what your playstyle is like. Are you making good decisions between hipfire vs ADS? Are you engaging at effective distances? Perhaps mouse sensitivity is too high or too low.
