It's very sad reading these posts daily of players not being able to play BF2042 because of MM and the lack of a proper server browser.
Especially on a day when the game is receiving a new update and there is not even a mention of a fix to help these players.
The server browser should be the number one priority for DICE, all these other fixes / changes pale into insignificance when you can't even play the game. ☹️
- @RayD_O1 It is a sad state of affairs. If they are not going to introduce a SB then they should at the very least let us know how they intend to resolve the MM issue and when this is going to occur.
We deserve to be able to play the game we paid for.
This is going to have a negative effect on the BF community and Franchise. They should be doing everything they can to resolve it. It's more important than re-working the older maps IMHO as if you can't get in to play then what's the point of fixing up an old map in the first place, never mind enjoying the new content.

Match making is still horrendous! Took my friend on his PC and I awhile to find AOW match. I downloaded the game on my PC again to see if anything was different because I do want to play. But this along with the other problems still there makes me not even want to try again.

- @sk1lld I live in Western Australia and I have crossplay enabled on my Xbox Console settings as well as the BF2042 in game settings. I have reset both and restarted the console and then turned them both back on to see if it makes any difference, but no joy.
I think MM puts you into your region only, and if there are no players currently playing there or a game is full, well then its too bad for you. Something needs to happen with it where at the very minimum it gives you the option to change region and join another match even if its a lower ping. At least you get a game. - @samboleary Sorry your dealing with this also. I have said before that even with match making there should be a region selection. Tarkov uses MM but they let you pick the region and it works fine.

DICE please put in some sort of fix to allow ALL players access to the game.
- @RayD_O1 i don't think they will do anything that exposes the number of players in the game
- @Sc0tch_Whiskey I am hoping that at the minimum that they implement something into MM like that very feature so everyone can at least play. It wont be as good as a SB but it will be a lot better than what we are currently putting up with. Something has to happen to improve the MM.
I see from my EA email today about the new enhancements brought into BF2042 today that there is a new mode they are going to be bringing out mid October. Wondering if:
A: I will be able to play it, because I can not play Rush when that was brought out in Season 2 or Breakthrough since Christmas
B: If they have the time to work on things like this, then why are they not working on more important things like getting MM to work or introducing a SB which would improve the quality of the game a lot more.
I don't see the point in delivering new content if we are not going to be able to MM into it in the first place
#BringBackTheServerBrowser - @Prof3ss0r_M1k3 I think that the number of players is already exposed with the likes of Steam Charts readily available. It's mentioned in nearly every YT video as well so I dont think that it's a surprise to anyone. I can log into BF4 which has a lower player count than BF2042 and get a game mode on a map I want, so I think that if it was brought in that it would work and hopefully increase the playerbase.

They are killing BF and they know it. I wonder if that’s what they want to do, move on to newer games like 2042. Have some BF features but more open shooter, less tactical . I have played this new patch and I was able to get into matches but that usually happens after an update but reverts back to the old ways. So I will see. But they need to fix MM or bring back Server Browser not for just 2042 but for future of the battlefield franchise.

One thing's for sure, I will never buy another BF title unless it has a server browser / persistent servers from the word go.
Or any other title for that matter.
