Re: Add a server browser

Until we get a server browser and persistent servers this game will remain a frustration to play. EA/DICE please hear our pleas and provide a server browser.

When you look at all the positives and negatives it really amazes me that anyone could prefer MM over a proper Server Browser / Persistent Server System.

For me personally MM is still the biggest frustration in BF2042.

Having to play the game the way MM decides, rather than how I want to play, is just not acceptable.

And in some cases players can't even play the game at all which is surely unacceptable in any BF title. !

Imho MM is not up to the job and should be replaced.

WoW, 322 pages in, and we are still asking for a Server Browser.

I feel it's blatantly obvious now that they are never going to implement it in 2042.

This is not a legacy feature that is missing from the game, but a critical feature needed for the game to survive.

I still can't understand their reasoning on this.

I agree, a critical feature that  all previous BF multiplayer titles needed to function smoothly.

MM will never be a suitable alternative and imho needs replacing asap.

It was a very big mistake, a Server Browser / Persistent Servers have always been fundamental to the smooth running of all previous BF games.

Imho MM has dealt a crushing blow to the BF community and I personally believe only the return of these critical elements can steer the BF franchise back on the right track.

DICE please add a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers to AOW.

The more I play the Weekly Portal Experiences where I can stay on the same server and play through the whole map rotation the more I hate returning to AOW.

MM is frustrating on so many levels and wastes so much playing time hanging around in lobbies.

I honestly believe that bringing back the tried and tested Server Browser that we enjoyed in all previous BF's would give a massive boost to BF2042.

DICE please bring back the Server Browser / Persistent Servers we had in all previous BF's.

It would transform the whole BF2042 gaming experience and allow players to choose how / what and where they play.

In many cases it would allow access to players who are currently unable to play due to low player counts in their regions.

Imho it would be the #1 improvement you could make that would boost the player base for BF2042 and restore confidence in the franchise going forward.

Totally agree guys, especially a positive response as that would lift BF2042 to a completely new level and improve the whole gameplay experience for everyone.

DICE please make it happen.

BF2042 needs a Server Browse / Persistent Servers for AOW. 

The Official Weekly Portal Experiences are more enjoyable to play because they allow players to stay on the same server and play through the whole map rotation without being dumped back to the lobby after every single round.

MM has removed choice and totally randomised how we get to play BF2042, in some cases it is actually denying players access.

I hope to see the Server Browser returned asap for the good of BF2042 and all future BF's.

I haven't played in a few weeks, so I needed to get caught up on the weekly Battle Pass missions. One of the missions is to play a round of Reclaimed. How can I do this in AOW? I have played for about 6 hours now and have yet to get that map in any game mode. 

Either remove map related missions from the Battle Pass or add a Server Browser so I can select Reclaimed and complete the mission, geez.

Take a look, how many features the game lack now compared to 10 years ago, this is BF4 server browser look how many filters we have :

BF2042 and all future BF's should all have a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers, it's not a proper BF game without them.

DICE please listen to the community and replace MM for the good of this game and the BF franchise going forward.

I agree it is very sad to see the BF series reduced to this level. ☹️ 

I sincerely hope that DICE revert a lot of the decisions they have taken with BF2042 so we can get the BF series back on track.

We need better quality servers and a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers so we can get back to playing the way we played in all previous BF games.

DICE please listen to the community, many of the missing elements at launch have now been implemented.

DICE just need to take that final important step and replace MM with a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers, imho it would simply transform BF2042.
