Agreed, imho having a Server Browser would simply transform how we play and allow us to take back control of our gaming time, resulting in a much better experience for all.

It would go a very long way, imho it is still the #1 QoL component missing from the game.
If BF2042 had a proper Server Browser and Persistent Servers players would have access to their favourite maps instead of the current MM set up, which is at best a bit of a lottery.
Imho not having control of how, what and where we play has been a major step backwards for the BF series.
I personally look forward to a time when MM is replaced or used only as a Quick Match option.
I want the ability to play BF the way it was meant to be played and to the return of a robust Battlefield Community that has sadly been depleted with the removal of the Server Browser / Persistent Servers.
We all want what's best for the BF franchise, DICE please make it happen.
If the next Battlefield title is not due until autumn 2025 at the earliest, that is a long time to be without a Server Browser and Persistent Servers. 😒

A lot of players have disappeared, imho the lack of a proper Server Browser / Persistent Server is the major reason most clans / platoons have abandoned BF2042.
Unfortunately MM does not cater for the Battlefield communities multiplayer needs and imho should be replaced asap.
I'm right behind you @Mackstan71 I seldom play any more due to not knowing what map I will end up in or getting into a map I like with less than 1 minute left on the losing side "Being spawn camped".
A PS/SB would fix so much.
Doh, PS/SB is such a good idea. How can nobody at Dice have thaught of this before?

Hey bud, I sincerely hope they do too, that is why I feel it is so important to keep this thread alive by giving our regular feedback.
I fear for the very survival of the BF franchise if they fail to replace MM with a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers.
The next BF needs to have a proper foundation to build on and it has been proven in BF2042 that MM does not cater for the BF community's multiplayer needs.
We all want the BF franchise to survive / flourish, as you say lets just hope they listen and make it happen.

100% this, MM has added so much frustration to BF2042, the sooner it is replaced the better so we can get back to playing BF the way we choose.
All previous BF's allowed us to select a server of our choice and stay on it all day if we wanted, playing with friends / clan mates.

@RayD_O1I realy miss those glory days where you and a bunch of your friends just hopped in a game/server of your own choice and have a great time....we started early in the evening and sometimes stopped when the sun came up 🙂.
We also had our own gaming community with servers in the US (East Coast) and The Netherlands. We had a lot of gamers joining our servers...why?...well we had a good atmosphere with fun, laughter and companionship. And yes we had lag and hit problems sometimes(not as bad as now), but we played with friends...and that was the most important thing. So i know what it is to have a bunch of gamers who have the choice to have a blast and building a community with eachother. And those options is taken away by the poor decision EA/DICE have made. it's said many times by others and i say it again...it is a sad state of affairs.
GhostGaming on Twitter has shared a link to a Battlefield 2025 Community Survey. Its not made by EA Dice but the maker Benbit13 will post the results and share to dice. Some very intresting questions in it. Head over and check it out.
I haven't looked into it yet. Is there a possibility to tell them that we want a server browser?

God, do I miss being able to select what map I wish to play on. I hope EA takes note of the survey's results but feel they will ignore it like they have ignored things so far.
We so deserve a Server Browser and Persistent Servers.
