I have to agree with ATFGunner here, the map should be renamed EL Runamein

For El Alamein, the best thing would be to add about 16 - 20 tanks each side NOT the TOR though and maybe some humvees. This would turn the whole map into an all out tank battle to capture the flags. There would be no air vehicles it would be an all out ground warfare only 64 Vs. 64. the map is so wide open its ment to be play with all ground vehicles mostly just tanks. Probably could add more buildings amd update it to 2042.

Whichever team held the mountain ranges would probably would win.

@ATFGunr  Agreed, the way the map and current gameplay is does not make it enjoyable. It would need considerable more vehicles, especially transport. Add a couple more LATV4, Polaris and quads in spawn and maybe also at the objectives. My question arose more from the perspective of why did they add both the BC2 and BF3 maps from portal to AOW but none of the BF1942 maps?

It makes you wonder why of all BF1942 maps they specifically chose this one to port to BF2042? Because it required the least effort??? Why not add Wake Island for example, a true iconic BF map.

Anyway, I'm not here to steal @JOGAGATYA 's thunder, back on topic, Battle of the Bulge!

@AnobixRhibs and swimming are in Noshahr Canals, and swimming can also be done on Arica Harbor, so it’s possible.

But again, this topic is about Battle of the Bulge and why it’s not featured in AOW?
