Re: Battlefield 2042 Beta was in a rough state - illustrated here...

@Trokey66 we dont know much about Portal either with 4 weeks left until ultimate drops. Its not like they communicate and then show very short clips of gameplay when we get the honor of their presence.

The state of the game...did you play the beta? I dont care how you define it Trokey, first impressions are everything. A beta should of been months ago then people would of been less worried. Sorry I disagree with everything you are saying. This reminds me of cyberpunk all over with less gameplay footage and more cinematic trailers.

This is why I have suggested to anyone on the fence to use EA play and do the 10 hour trial of 2042 at launch. If its rocky come back in a few months. Simple solution to the issue.

Be sensible!

@ghinavirusI preordered months ago so for me, that money has been spent.

Yes, I played the Beta and it was a very poor one indeed and I don't disagree that first impressions count.

I have no doubt the game has moved from the Beta build but don't know how far.

Simple fact is though, we don't KNOW the current state of the game so again, who are we to say the game should be delayed or by how long.

  • @Trokey66 I will say by first impressions is why many have called for a delay. And this goes back to the fact why a beta should of been this past summer especially since all the big boys were saying we are way ahead of schedule before summer. Earlier beta with issues means time is available for resolution. So the short window for fixes has people shook.

The base is already frustrated and if Dice releases a bad launch, this game will die quickly.

I truly love this franchise and want to see it one day top COD. Its why I am so vocal and will continue to be until BF is on top or abandoned by EA....tough love
