already read those 2 thread and they are old and situation has schanged since eac offically announce support for linux. Since ea sold their game through steam they doesnt even have create origin for linux or anything they just need to active the module for the game build.

yeah, sorry im afraid u can t speak for ea, and i mainly need a confimration. I known the what how why i just need an official response.

At the moment we dont officially support Linux for Battlefield 2042, if that changes we will announce it. @alex37330 

For now all I can recommend is keep up to date with Battlefield news.

The game works under proton, please have a look into proton. I'd rlly like to play this game on my Linux desktop as the majority of my other games work just fine.
