Hi @PremiumDamian ,

Yes for the moment then playing the BF2042 PS5 version demands that you use an original and validated Sony PS5 controller.

You may have noticed that Sony now also push software updates to your connected controllers on the PS5 platform, as their way to control and validate the integrity of the game platform environment end to end.

You are only able to play the BF2042 game's PS4 version on the PS5 with non-original Sony controllers.  Aka modded controllers...
