- Which maps presently provide a poor opening experience because of the location of the Base Spawn?
They all do. Running over 300 meter from the base spawn to the first flag is not fun. One example is hourglass with 64 players Conquest on US side, running to flag A1 in the desert without cover is deadly. Easily being picked by heli and sniper. Besides changing the location of the base spawn, please also remove in Conquest, the cut scene that force all players who are not in a vehicle to spawn at base.
- Which maps are making it harder to get back into the fight in an all cap scenario?
They are kind of bad. This is not only the map, also the spawn points. Multiple times player spawns closer to the enemy base instead of its own flag/base. And multiple times player spawn amony enemy player/vehicles, which result instant death. The spawn system needs to adjust together with the map design.
- How do you feel about the current balance between Infantry and Vehicles in Breakthrough?
Bolte is too OP. Check my thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Balance-the-bolte-again/m-p/11304401#M89092 Heli is too dominant and there isn't any good weapon to counter. There needs to have some buildings and covers that can't be destroyed by vehicle. One example is hourglass 64 player A1 flag. There isn't any cover on flag area, only bushes. The surrounding buildings are all destructable. Infrantry has no chance at that flag. There are similar examples on all maps.
- Have you played 64 player Breakthrough, and do you feel that this is the better way to experience the mode?
Yes. It's more tactical and a good squad can decide a match. But I do like the chaos in 128 breakthough. If it can be managed well, the 128 experience could be more fun.
- On which maps and Flags do you see the most immediate need for more line of sight blockers?
The example I added above: hourglass 64 player A1 flag.
- Do you have specific areas on maps that currently stand out to you as lacking cover?
See above.
- Do you have thoughts on how we can better define traveling paths between objectives to keep combat focused?
Add more vehcles, like motorbikes ingame. Add trenches so player can run though without being to visible to vehicle, like in Panzerstorm in BFV. Move spawn points closer to each other. Add tunnels.
