QUESTIONS FROM THE CORE FEEDBACK POST

  • Which maps presently provide a poor opening experience because of the location of the Base Spawn?

Quite bluntly, all of them. The defending team needs to spawn directly at one of the two bases (split 50/50). The attacking team need to be split out more (say 4 or 5 squads in about 8 or 9 spawn points within 150 metres of a flag) 

  • Which maps are making it harder to get back into the fight in an all cap scenario?

Some flags are ridiculously hard to capture. And spawn death spawn death can be extremely frustrating. Kaleidoscope, Hourglass are very poorly laid out.

  • How do you feel about the current balance between Infantry and Vehicles in Breakthrough?

Vehicles are ridiculously overpowered. And they need reducing by 50%. Bolt and choppers need a big nerf.

  • Have you played 64 player Breakthrough, and do you feel that this is the better way to experience the mode?

64 player breakthrough is way too quiet. I think the way forward is utilizing a full map but at 96 players.

  • On which maps and Flags do you see the most immediate need for more line of sight blockers?

Kaleidoscope,, Hourglass and Renewal are the 3 worst offenders. 

  • Do you have specific areas on maps that currently stand out to you as lacking cover?

Yes Hourglass is literally just desert. You can run for 5 minutes just to get sniped, Renewal fields are bad, breakaway is bad on flag A1 and A2, manifest when attacking the second sector (ships) you have no cover at all attempting to get across. Discarded hardly any cover between ships, or between flag A1 and A2

 

  • Do you have thoughts on how we can better define traveling paths between objectives to keep combat focused?

Trenches! Simple! Buildings etc, tunnels. Use what you've used in previous games!

  • Do you see improvement opportunities to make it easier to understand how to get from one objective to the next?

Could have arrows above tunnels etc pointing the way, but you need at least 4 or 5 avenues to get to each flag.
