I was thinking, really BF has regressed. Is that a word? lol

And when i always yell this game has been "consolized" its because exactly of that. The casual gamer wants to go in and kill some stuff and feel good. Today with Battelog people would feel bad if their kill/death ratio is terrible. And in part, the popularity of Battle Royale and the wanna be on rails shooter Cod, have in a way ruined BF. I feel BF V is really MILES better than 2042. It has all the essentials that makes a BF game and its a bummer that its lackluster sales might have caused the shift into more casual territory. 2042 has little to offer. It has inferior visuals, sound and gameplay when compared to its predecessors. I cannot foresee myself playing this game for years as it is right now...

Please stop with the elitist PC crap. I play on PC now but played on PS3/4 when BF4 first came out and I loved Battlelog because it showed me I was in the top 10 for tanking nation wide and top 3 for my state. Generalizing console players as all "casual" is as dumb as claiming all people of a certain race will share a characteristic.

@TheCompton73 Elitist? Dont put words into my mouth, clown.

Fact is, a lot of times when games start on the PC and then transition to consoles, since there are more possible sales, games get tweak to fit console gamers need. Example. a lot of games started to leave out FOV option on the PC because its not needed on the Console. Its not about saying "oh console gamers are just lame". I never said it. But just looking at 2042, it becomes pretty evident. IMO.
