Checks out, I couldn't find the option anywhere. Was trying to test something with a friend in a Portal server, no dice.

Not sure about in portal. But if you select a different specialist to start with Apparently you start on a different side when match making. I haven’t confirmed this myself, just read it a couple of times that it might work.

Same CRAP - Always on the Russian team.  This is so stupid.
