Re: BF2042 is now going to get clobbered by the COD Vanguard release

I've been seeing a bunch of people totally slam Vanguard recently and the beta looked like a buggy mess. The overlap between COD and BF is quite large though so I don't really see people choosing one over the other (for too long) despite the crazy prices.

  • I can't see any desire from the CoD  community to embrace A WW2  game,   I mean how well did the last WW2 release go ???    and after most of the BFV players jumped ship to CoD modern warfare stating it was because they were sick of the retro settings of BF1 and BFV  I really feel   Vanguard will tank..

    Disaster? Naaaah, small impact perhaps but not a disaster. 

    At the end of the day and as has been said, those that like CoD will buy it and those that buy Battlefield will buy that.  Which one comes out first is almost irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
