Maybe do some research and check if war is supposed to be chaotic. It might be many things, but definitely not 'chaotic' by design.

But even if it were -- this is a GAME, not a war! (thank goodness) and it is supposed to be fun (very much UNLIKE war).

Well, for some people chaos might be fun and therefore if the player base is big enough to sustain all modes, I am also in favor of bringing this mode back. But at the moment they struggle to consistently fill smaller game modes, so they had to decide how to deal with that and removing a mode that is just chaos and not fun for MOST (not all -- you are one of those who liked that chaos) players was their 'solution'. Not an ideal one for sure, but to me the 'smaller evil'
