Think I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to load the game, get splash screen, after it hangs there for a bit, the ea app opens then closes, splash screen gone, game didnt load. Been doign this since I got home.

Clean the cache folder and restart the game

Cleared the cashe..nothing happend... i'm realy [ bleep ] atm...for the love of french fries..fix this [ bleep ]
Every person having this issue (myself included) all started happening a few days ago. All our PCs didn't break at the same time. And, I didn't make any driver or windows updates before it started ocurring. I think we are all using the EA desktop app. Haven't seen anyone using the Origin client reporting the problem.
This isn't a PC issue. There are way too many people that started having the problem at the same time. It also eventually launches if you continue to start the game And it randomly doesn't start. there is no crash file or event log related. The game simply doesn't start after the EAC splash screen.
It could be that certain regions or people using particular ISP might not experience the issue. Or less often.
