Re: Console players

Ok 🤣 well I play mostly on console so I know what I'm talking about. At this point it's clearly a skill issue here. I'm mean you can keep claiming it's not but it obviously is. Aim assist isn't that strong. I as well as quite a few other players I know don't notice much of a change when we've have played with and without. Like I said, it's there to help a bit but not a lot like you all are claiming. And as pc players you really don't get to say aim assist is op since you most likely haven't played bf2042 on console and if you have, not enough to really see that it doesnt make a huge difference. Instead of coming into here, how about turning crossplay off or play against bots or not playing at all. Getting rid of aim assist like most pc players want, would put them at way more of an advantage than they already are. Again easier to aim with your hand and wrist than it is with a thumb on a joystick.

And I love how you claim console players are always at the top of the leaderboard and perform the best. That's not what I see it most of my matches. Since I've began playing this game at release, pc players make up the majority of the top 5 on both teams the majority of the time. Not sure what game you're playing but it ain't BF2042

@ZRuff46 Likewise, how about you get on a PC and see what the rest of us are talking about. I agree with others that AA is just part of the issue. Console players have a sync advantage and for whatever reason, PCs seem to lag and we take the hits. And I am using a 5k gaming rig with a 1Gb internet connection, 34ms ping from the EA server. Its not my equipment and its not my lacking skill either. I have seen console player changing weapons much faster than my system does, jump in the air and turn, then headshot me. Oh, and I fired about 7 rounds into him first. Yes, they hit him.
  • @ZRuff46 don't talk nonsense. at no time did I say that they are at the top of the table, or that they are good or bad players. The thing is, and I'm not the only one who said this, we're just taking 5 pictures. If it was a question of skill I wouldn't come to the forum to complain. And really, they kill us with 3, to 5 shots, the majority, almost 90%. not just how to play against computer players, not a large player base. But the way you wrote it or maybe I misinterpreted it but you were an idiot. if it were a matter of skill I wouldn't run around the map like a madman, and I'd be with a kd 100/8 in almost every game. Again, I talk and insist, I'm taking about 3-5 shots, and that's stressful. I kill 3.31 per minute with my weapons, if that's a lack of skill for you, honestly...

@Ahhnuld you do realize that console has the exact same issues that you just mentioned, right? I frequently see those issues every match and damn near every gun fight. I can't even count the number of times I shot, I feel like a dozen shots into someone for them to turn around a kill me in 1 shot. I've had that happen with pc players and console players alike. Again as I mention before, this is an issue with game performance and not aim assist.

@TwiitchTV_NEIVFF I wasn't talking to you about the scoreboard. That was for someone else. You do realize the time to kill is extremely fast right? All this stuff that you've been talking about happens to me and other console players too. You guys act like this is only a pc problem when it's not.

They added network advantage 4 console along with the aim assist update.

It's no longer a game of skill
