Re: Crossplay is Unfair

@Velcro_SnickersWhy though? Everyone on console would be presented with the same option that is currently presented to pc players: mnk OR controller. At least then there's an option for console players to play against pc players with the same input device and if they dont want to, then they can disable crossplay.

But to advertise it as a functionality and then tell us sorry no we're not doing it your only solution is to disable crossplay... well that's not what they promised on the preorder page. They promised that the option would be there and then the decision to enable or disable crossplay is up to us.

  • @BaronVonGoon Bruh, that was the whole point of my original reply to you.

I said that the current method of disabling crossplay on Xbox isn't adequate, so there basically IS NO OPTION to disable crossplay currently.

There's no mention of it even being possible like there is on PC and PS5. Both of those platforms get prompts when the game is first launched asking if you want to disable it. Xbox doesn't get that, and you have to navigate the convoluted system menu to disable it with no instructions on how or where to go to do so.

That means that if they did just add mkb support, and did nothing else, like you implied is the "only solution," that Xbox players would be even worse off than they are now.

@Velcro_Snickers Oh that will undoubtedly be fixed very soon. Or *should* be fixed very soon. It's very visible on the very first page in the options menu, as it should be. Xbox should be the same in time, though it is Dice we're dealing with so who knows when they do this.
