- @b0gart-555 Is there no possibility to adjust controls to mimic what you’re used to?

Probably -- but I am left handed : although I set up my usual 'arrow' keys for movement, I couldn't be bothered to do much more !!! (lazy I guess 😉 )
Are you playing it ?? -- enjoying it ??
- @b0gart-555 Nope not playing it, I’m on PS5 and there still is no definite date on when this game comes to consoles.

I've played 2042 for over 1500 hours of actual playtime. Playing Delta Force for a few days made me realize how good 2042 is right now. I have stopped playing 2042 after finishing the last season but came back to get my rusty FPS gears going.
Delta Force is decent for what it is. A F2P clone of CoD and Battlefield mashed together for a quick cash grab. It offers absolutely nothing new. If you ever played 2042 and some recent CoD games, you will see that everything from main menus to vehicle UI is a total rip off of CoD and Battlefield.
I've played for around 25 hours since it launched and nothing is interesting it could offer to a Battlefield player. SBMM and matchmaking are broken. You often get matched into 100+ ping servers (I live in EU BTW) at 19:00 on Saturday... It desperately tries to keep you at 1 k/d. One round you try out a new gun, don't get as many kills etc. Next round you play against literal bots who don't shoot back.
. Gunplay is...weird. It's mashed with CoD's super fast and twitched movement, yet TTK is extremely high. I'm talking BF2042 K30 damage being applied to ARs TTK. Guns do 21 damage to the chest, and only around 39 damage to the head. So it's not uncommon to get 2 headshots and 1 normal hit and still don't get a kill at point-blank range with an AR. Absolute BS. At 30+ meters your AR is doing 11 damage. Screen shake and gun shake is also hilariously bad when firing a weapon. BF2042 ain't got nothing when it comes to that visual recoil.
Network and net code are a blast from the past of the BF4 launch era.
Audio is abysmal. You don't any footsteps and as of now, you can't even hear other players firing their weapons for some reason.
It might be a place for some of us to try something new while waiting for BF6, but I don't see many BF players playing it for a long time.

as long as they keep SBMM in the unranked gamemodes it is destined to die out in the warfare mode sooner than later...
Its just not fun to play and I sure as hell didn't sign up to a 100000€/$ tournament every round I play simple as that
