It's a shame you are unable to test the fixes or join AOW Breakthrough matches, we can only hope that DICE take the necessary action to rectify this problem in future updates asap.
As you rightly point out BF2042 needs persistent servers / browser to help ALL players find a severs to play on.
As you know there are many threads requesting this change and for MM to be scrapped.
Hopefully DICE will respond favourably and help all players to be able to play Breakthrough and all other modes in the coming updates.
