Re: Do the consoles version have aim assist?
@BlackidusConsoles will never have the detailed level of mouse and keyboard support that PC's have, and PC's also have tons and tons of other peripheral input devices available that means consoles will always have a disadvantage. Case in point, I use Razer keypads for FPS gaming that imo are way better than using a normal keyboard, so right away a keyboard on a console is at a disadvantage, next I also use foot pedals for leaning in some FPS games so I can lean and also strafe, crouch, run, walk or whatever at the same time (the finger you usually use for leaning would have to be taken off the lean key in order to do other functions) so again consoles would have a disadvantage, not to mention all the flight control peripherals out there, I just use a joystick for flying planes in BFV but if I wanted to I could set up all manor of different flight controls like rudder pedals and even head tracking so I can look around the cockpit and out of the windows while keeping all my hands on all the other controls allowing me to look around and fly at the same time. There's so many combinations of controls available to PC that consoles will simply never be able to match. Sure any type of non competitive game would be fine, but any game that directly pitches people against other people for score should be kept to respective platforms so that all human players have the exact same available control options as the people they are playing against.
