Yeah, whilst it has been fun to see the panic when you turtle around the corner, the range is too much. Just needs dialing back enough to allow players to jump-shot over the top of the shield. Currently they stand no chance.
I am quite sure that it is not 2 meters from the PoV of the one doing the bashing.
This is the equivalent of being shot after having gone around corners.
Perhaps you should also try some things that hurt from from bellow like flames or some heavy shot such as rockets.
Or you could try to not go around alone, Dozer is a free kill as long as someone shoots at him from somewhere other than the front.
For ages we had what was called the Dozer-tier for on the bottom of the specialists tier based on how bad he was.
Perhaps one can argue that the specialist gimmicks are unbalanced shenanigans but at as long as we still have them we might as well keep their unbalanced shenanigans equal to each other
